When it comes to crate training and housebreaking your dog, there are some important things you should know. For starters, when it comes to the crate, having it as small as possible while still being comfortable for the dog will actually cut the training time in half if not more. For this reason, it is so important to make sure that if you are purchasing a crate for training purposes and you still would like to be able to use it latter on once the dog is older and larger; you will need a divider panel. 

Furthermore, crate training and housebreaking your dog also means there is going to be the potential of accidents and small messes.
