An internal thermostat keeps the temperature at an optimal 100°F when in use. Lectro Kennel™ also comes with a removable, washable fleece cover. 

Lectro-Temp Control (sold separately) is recommended for use with whelping puppies, animals recovering from surgery, or anytime a pet cannot remove themselves from the pad.
